Mom's little Sister Rosa Lee Evans-Conner 12/20/1928-11/03/2019

Atkinson Funeral Home Rosa L. Conner ( December 20, 1928 - November 03, 2019 ) Rosa Lee Evans Conner, 90, of Harrisonville, MO passed away early Sunday morning November 3, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Rosa Lee was born December 20, 1928 in Butler, MO, a daughter of Amy Miller and Robert Evans.  Rosa Lee grew up in Butler, MO with her 10 brothers and sisters.  Butler is also where she met her husband.  John and Rosa Lee were united in marriage on December 21, 1946.  Rosa Lee was a full time mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful cook, homemaker and parent.  She was well known for her smile, kindness, and many wonderful recipes. She will be deeply missed by all. Rosa Lee was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Conner; parents; brothers:  Glen, Orville, Buford, Eugene, Everett Paul Evans; and two sisters: Bertha Brittingham and Margie Brittingham.  Rosa Lee is survived by four daughters: Carol Moody and husband, Rick; Janet Moses and husband, Albert of Harrisonville, MO; Mary Butler and Judy Myers of Lee’s Summit, MO; one son, Larry Conner and fiancée, Laura Michaels of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters, Eva Lena Keeble, Leawood, KS, Doreen Speer, Independence, MO, and Lola Jordan, Oliver Springs, TN; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives.
