Barbara Ann Brittingham

Barbara Ann Brittingham (nee: Davidson), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Vernon M. Brittingham, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Dora and Edith Davidson; devoted mother of Jacqueline Price, Vicki Johnston, and Vernon (Michelle) Brittingham, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Colton Johnston, Courtney (Jason) Haefner, and Caleb Brittingham; dear sister of William (Hazel) Davidson and Dorothy (the late Larry) Conrad; and treasured sister-in-law of Joanne Davidson. Barbara was also preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Davidson and Kenneth (Sharon) Davidson.

Barbara retired from bookkeeping after more than 25 years with Consolidated Investors. She was an excellent cook. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and sitting outside watching the birds in her feeders. She was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and liked watching the games on TV with her husband. Barbara will be remembered for being understanding, open-minded, and very kind hearted. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
