Memories of Dad by Marty

My grandfather Stanley Brittingham used to make the Chef Boyardee Spaghetti Dinner in a box, but with one twist -- he would break the spaghetti noodles before boiling them so they were easier to eat. To remember him on his birthday this year, I recreated the meal. They don't make the Boyardee Spaghetti Dinner anymore, so I pulled together my own version on the ingredients. Break the dry pasta into pieces about 3/4" in length.Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Stir in tomato pasta and seasonings (1 tsp oregano, 2 tsp basil, and 1 tsp garlic powder)Drain the pasta, transfer to a bowl, and stir in the beef/tomato sauce mixture.Top with shake cheese and salt/pepper to taste.Enjoy it in a large Pyrex bowl with some RC Cola and a slice of bread with margarine.
