Grandma Brittingham's Mystery Middle Name

There was ALWAYS a mystery about what was Grandma Brittingham's middle name? I think because most documents I have found she just signs "M" as her middle initial, even on a copy of Dad's Birth Certificate she signed, Bertha M. Brittingham. Mom said it was Matilda, Opal said it was Mary (which she has on Grandma's stone) and now I find several documents in Dad's Navy enlistment paper's that she signed her name, Bertha Mae! I like that! June and Art's daughter, Donna Mae, probably was named after Grandma Brittingham and our Mother's sister, Lola Mae.
